FREE Music Classes in Liverpool!

Resonate, Liverpool’s Music Hub, funded by Arts Council England, operates as a gateway for Liverpool’s young musicians, meaning over 14,000 pupils in Liverpool have regular access to outstanding music opportunities which will impact on their lives and enhance our city.

Children will get a phenomenal chance to perform in theatres such as the iconic Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool and learn alongside other talented young musicians from across the city.

The team at Resonate are extremely passionate about all children, no matter their background having access to music lessons. Their drive and spirit to provide this option to many across Liverpool is wonderfully commendable and we are so proud to introduce this wonderful team to the readers of Family Go Live.

* At each rehearsal you will get the opportunity to work with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic musicians to build on your orchestral technique and ensemble skills, and work on a wide range of musical styles

* You will get access to a broad range of activities, genres, skills development and progression opportunities including working with world class artists and musicians

* You’ll perform every term, and at least once a year in Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

* You’ll get to meet and rehearse with like-minded peers and contribute to the development of the ensemble.

Resonate Singers:
Meet on Tuesdays 4-5pm at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College
Windemere Terrace Liverpool, L8 3SB, or on Thursdays 4-5pm at Notre Dame Catholic College, Great Homer Street Liverpool, L5 5AF, the Junior Choir (Level 1) is free

Resonate Orchestras:
Children and young people who are learning a string, woodwind, brass or percussion instrument at grade 2+ are welcome to join Resonate Orchestra sessions take place on Tuesday evenings 16.15-18.30pm Bellerive FCJ Catholic College Windermere Terrace, L8 3SB Or Thursday evenings 16.15-18.30pm At Notre Dame Catholic College Great Homer Street, Liverpool L5 5AF There is a cost for session once children reach grade 2 of £5 per week

Young DaDa Ensemble:
This ensemble is targeted at young people who are disabled, deaf or living with long-term illness or conditions who are interested in playing in a band and learning morning about music. Weekly workshops for young people aged 11-25 who have some music experience to form a music-making group. The group meets on Mondays from 4pm to 6pm at Resonate Liverpool’s Music Hub during term-time. The young people will decide on the genre and style of music, advised and guided by professional musicians, working towards Arts Awards and a celebratory performance.
